Getting new features or functions added seem to be one of my limitations.

I never hear a peep back from them after I request something.  :(

No sweat. I guess some communication is better than none at all.

Another new Seasonal event just popped up!!

Super GT
GT500 cars only @650pp or less.
Opponents are @583-609pp on Racing: Hard tires

Indy Speedway - 8 laps - 1rd = 411,000 Cr.
Noobherdring GP/F - 5 laps - 1th = 522,00 Cr.
Laguna Seca - 5 laps - 1nth = 468,600 Cr.
Cape Ring - 5 laps - 1thst = 500,100 Cr.
Eifel (Circuit) - 5 laps - 1nd = 523,200 Cr.

1st place = Credits + Racing helmet / suit
2nd place = Credits + paint
3rd place = Credits + horn

Prizes given every time you win but only relative to the position you finish.

An interesting development tonight, I'd been taking some photos in practice mode and was going to run some seasonals just now to get some shots of my Ferrari California with other cars and >>BLAM<< (like Adam West in Batman) I see this new seasonal!  I wonder if it's because it's a fairly major holiday weekend in the US (would seem odd though since it's just a US holiday) or perhaps because of the Nocheaterring Time Trial removal the other day, who knows.. but there it is :).

I guess this could suggest you might want to pick up a rally car for the next seasonal.

I'm secretly hoping there's going to be a rally seasonal, that would be cool!  Even a (another?) rally time trial would be cool.

I wouldn't count on a rally seasonal. We had a very similar OCD line up to that a while back. I remember this, because I bought all of those rally cars. I think there might be only 3 or 4 cars on that list I don't have already.

Good point Chrome, didn't they do a Drift Trial on a rally track a while back too?  I've been collecting cars for a while (especially the rally ones) so the only rally car I didn't have was the Subaru Impreza Prototype Rally Car, the funny prodrive style one with the round headlights, because I'd been avoiding it (I really don't like that round headlight style on that car).

I guess we can always hope though, Rallying is on thing GT5 is really lacking in especially compared to GT4 for me, so many sweet rally cars and very little chance to use them in a fitting environment (i.e. rally events).  Though they are fun to drive on regular tracks it's just not the same racing against production cars or different class race cars.

Hmm maybe we should get some kind of Tuna rally event going, do dirt / snow tracks even work online or would it limited to a tarmac rally (which still would be cool)?

The feel of the rally events in 5 are way off from 4. I was really looking forward to it, because I did more of that in 4 than anything else. I haven't hardly touched 5's rallies.  :(

I kind of liked the setup of the Special Event rallies, the sort of stage based time trial thing, but with almost no replay value to them once you've got 1st place it's really a shame they didn't put something into A-Spec.  I seem to remember Cathedral Rocks and the Grand Canyon were two of my favourite GT4 rally tracks, though I did really like the (and hate) those two tight village tarmac courses too, heck I liked all of them I think lol.

They went to the trouble of having co-driver instructions but only used them for the special events.  There are so many great features in GT5 that just never got fully developed.

Uhm Isn't it Canada Day Today?  That's a pretty major holiday for the Canadians,

Recently realized that Canada Day and U.S. Independence Day are only 3 days apart....Duh.

Oops, didn't realise there's a Canadian holiday around this weekend too  :-[.  I wonder if there are any other holidays in other countries around this time then?
