Oh, and I like how this is worded: "players can unlock a very special Nissan GT-R for use just by competing in the event"

It's just a race modded GT-R with Stelth mock up. It'll prolly be the same calibur as the V-35 GT-R TC.

Body wise it's prolly the same, just a different skin

Mygranturismo.net has a picture just like the die cast car not like the photos you showed.  They are definitely different.  I guess their picture isn't too accurate.

I take that back. You are showing the academy cars that we can get in game not the special car only available in Europe until this point.

.. according to myGranTurismo.net.  There's two with an almost identical name, the Academy Special from the EU event and the Academy Version from the License prize, ironically the picture of the Academy Special / EU one (above) looks very similar to the diecast model pic that MastrGT posted so I would assume they're recycling that content.

Let me be the first to say how overjoyed and excited I am to have another special car pox-riddled GT-R in the game!

Sounds like Feldynn is having a Tallstar kind of week. Anything PD does just puts another target on them.

Actually, I agree Feldynn. Another frickin GT-R. I think the Japanese automakers are Nissan is competing to see how many of their cars GT-Rs they can convince PD to include.
