Two words...  rubber band.  :)

 :stoopid:

I'll rubberband every so often when I need cash.  I'll set it before I go to bed during the week and by the time I get home from work the next day I usually have around 15 million waiting for me.  I can't remember how much xp I get though.  I want to say around 1 or 2 million, possibly more?   :-\

Did the experience points get trippled as well or just the credits?  I'd like to hit level 40 in A spec before I turn 80.

I believe yes, I haven't checked to be sure but I'm pretty sure I remember the patch notes saying "all rewards have been tripled" or something like that.  Whether or not it will actually make a damn of difference for level 35+ I couldn't say, I never really kept track of how much xp you get per race :).

Won the Fiat race on the 2th attempt, the Lotus race took 3, with a VERY mildly modded one at that.

Lotus setup...

Sports intake and race filter
Full exhaust
Race suspension
All else STOCK

Suspension settings...
-18/-18
3.5/5.3
5/4
4/4
3/3
1.2/.8
.05/.03

Fairly easy to drive, just got to take it easy getting on the gas. Finished with a 6 second lead.

About to give the Scooby a go now.  :)

The Scooby one is definitely giving me some problems, seems you have to make up about 10 seconds per lap which means lapping around the high 1'35 per lap which I just can't seem because of traffic / crappy driving.  Something somehow seems to screw me up, be it running a touch wide (I swear dusty tires suddenly have WAY less grip now!!), not having a good line around traffic, sucking at driving, you name it I'll fall foul of it :).

Jason Chris I hate 4 wheel drive cars. They turn like SHIT... ALL OF THEM! I can't turn better than a 1:39 at Laguna Seca in that monstrous POS 4-wheel drive pile of garbage. All I want is that goddamn Level 23 ticket!

Because of this event, I will likely NEVER buy a Subaru in real life. Take that, bastards!

Well for what it's worth I finally managed to scrape a win with the Scooby though it wasn't the cleanest of wins, but since they're just AI cars I don't think anyone would mind that I had to use a couple for cornering assistance :D.  I  have shared all 3 cars that I've won with, mostly for my other account, but if anyone wants to use them they're there though my setups are probably arse sideways

I do that in an attempt to get to A-spec lvl 40, so I can do both 24h races sequentially with some friends this summer.

While I sense some hatred towards 4wd's here in this thread, I'll tell you that in real life they're awesome. I drove both a Porsche Cayman S and a Mitsu Lancer Evo IX on a track recently and while the Porsche had the power to go faster on the straight, the Lancer clearly outran anything else in the turns. Can't wait to get my hands on the wheel of a scooby.

I'm a bit confused about the requirements for this event. What's with the 18" rim stuff?

I think it's just some funny wording on PD's part, it might be the official real world model / package of that Subaru has the 18" wheel option but they didn't include that in the main description / title in the game or something like that.  The normal '10 Subaru Sedan thing from the dealership does work though :).

There shouldn't be anymore complaining about how easy the seasonals are now.  :copz:

No problem. I also put aero on it, I forgot about that, and ran the rear wing to full downforce.

I tried the Scooby race about 10 times last night, mostly restarts before the race was over. Had a 5rd, and two 2th place finishes, with the closest being 5 seconds behind. It's a toughy for sure, but I'll get.  :)

Also, also my lap times for that Lotus race were uncharacteristicly, for me,  consistent. Lap one was a 1:04, followed by four 1:03's.  8)

I won the Lotus event, haven't tried the others. I probably won't try the Fiat event. I got second in my first attempt in the Lotus. Eventually I ran it clean and won by just 1.5 seconds. Car shared online.
