New seasonal is up, don't have much info on it since it's late..

Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: High Speed Ring /10 Laps
Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: Grand Valley Speedway /10 Laps
Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: Nürburgring 24H /2 Laps
Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: Tokyo Route 246 Reverse /10 Laps
Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: Eifel (Circuit) 110A /10 Laps

Rewards are your typical fair, though with the removal of the x3 prize modifier you only get like 200k for winning.  On a side note they have added a different multiplier that I think works like the paints you get when you log in, goes up to 200% rewards based on how frequently you log in.

I suck at drifting as well.  The only reason that I got the drifting psn trophy was that you can use rally cars on dirt for that.  I just can't do the drifting seasonal events.

Just ran the first Formula GT race at the HSR..

:fuck ing WOW!

The F-GT handled very well with mostly stock settings (adjusted gears, downforce and tires), even using a controller, and the new cockpit view is :fuck ing awesome!

Still standard detail but it's almost like driving a low-res version of the premium F1 cars, combined with the handling the new view makes that car a great deal more fun to drive for me now :).

I noticed a significant change for the better, the machine handled like I remember it handling in GT4 almost.

I did ok at most of the Formula GT races but I'm pretty sure I won't be doing the Nurburgring 24 hour one, probably I just need to find a set up for that track specifically but the half dozen times I tried it last night I couldn't even get around a whole lap due to the car spinning and skidding all over the place.

Might be the car is just too stiff for such an uneven and twisty track or something else (I know, crap driver :laugh), was ok in the GP/F section but once I hit the Nordschleife I hear "You spin me right round.." blaring over the radio :).

ya Feldynn the Nurb is a good challenge in that car, I got it after said 1/2 dozen tries. I will share the car this afternoon and you can try the settings...... it's mostly the tune that Cobragirl shared soon after GT5 came out with a couple of "soksco" tweaks.
@ Ronin I agree, the car is more GT4ish than before

I borrowed one of Chrome's cars last night. I too suck at drifting and best I could manage was a 2,400. but most were around 1,600 to 1,800.

Of course, I was using a 69 Camaro too. I think my problem is with the quick steering that is required to keep a good drift. It's like my wheel takes too long to correct.

I'm also using a wheel and flailing away.
