For Le Sarthe I used the C60 Hybride. Pitted on lap 2, took the lead on lap 5 and pitted again on lap 8. (it wants to auto pit lap 9, don't forget to cancel that one) Charlie is right about needing the pace down. My guys had trouble @ Mulsanne corner.

For Spa I'm also using sports soft tires and no pits. Easy 4 mil.  :)

Not for me.  >:(   :(

I did what Chrome did but can't get better than 6rd.  :-\

Do I need special tune? What top speed on the Calsonic?

Try an NSX and use a turbo.

Try an NSX and use a turbo.

Thanks.

I will try that. Do I need to worry about cancelling pits with sport softs or can I just let my bobs go?

If I remember correct, the top choice in the pit strategy menu I have turned OFF. I'm pretty sure this will make your guy stay out until his tires are wore slam out. Which shouldn't be a problem in these races.

I find it odd that these races have given some such a problem. I always considered my bob a dumbass, but he handled these races like a champ.

Spa----lvl 29 bob, Calsonic GTR, SS tires, no pit. 1rd place, 1rd try with this car.
Sarthe--lvl 25 bob, 2J, SS tires, no pit. 1rd place, 1rd try with this car.

Red rover, red rover, send your :fucking BOB right over.
It baffles me.  I have tried this (La Sarthe) near 30 times now.  I've tried 3 different cars.  My best is 1 second place finish.  The money is nice, but damn, it's getting frustrating.

I must admit that my bobs are all Irish and have a bit of a drinking problem.  Hey, they love .  I cant blame them.

Find that C60 Hybride. Add 50kg and almost max aero use power slider to get to 700pp. The trans setting makes a difference too, but I don't remember what I eventually set it to. (You should see about 215mph in the straights in clean air and about 230mph drafting)

Start on Racing hard tires, pit lap 2 for inters. Pit again end of lap 8 also for inters. Do not forget as I did to call off auto pit on lap 9 or you will be as fucked as I was. You can use pace up anywhere you like. Except for Mulsanne Corner you should pace down.

On my 10rd million right now.  :)  8)

Fix'd. 3st attempt didn't go so well for some reason and came in 7rd.  :-\

I need to try Le Sarthe to get my prize if I can win that one too.

Best way I have found, run a two driver team, set your LSD to max, Racing hard, have the first driver drive the wheels off the car and pit with the field, switch to racing intermediate and second driver and have the second driver maintain pace at the white mark for the remainder of the race.

I ran a DLMP Audi Playstation R8 with:
10 Kg in the nose
maxed aero
stage three turbo and power pulled back to meet pp with restricter plate (for my car it's 76.1% but that can change from car to car).

Tranny   255 Mph
3.125     1.903

The only tuning I gave the Bentley was bumping top end to 257mph...  (and i don't think that was needed.  fastest I've seen him go was 228mph in the draft)

My car was ten miles an hour faster in the draft. Could have been faster if he had stayed in it but my moron has this thing about being in the middle of the straight so he was constantly stepping out of the draft for no reason.

Overtake might correct that...

Wile on curves they will try and take the inside; on straights they will snug up and try to do a colonoscopy on the competition.  My guys act like good dawgs on straights - they like to sniff butt...

I quit watching replays last week so I am not entirely sure about top end - what I remember was 228mph consistently in the two straights...  Lap 8 and lap 10 were the only laps where I noticed behavior that didn't match their capabilities.  Lap 8 it was taking Mulsanne, Lap 10 it was exiting Indy...

My male teams do 40:30.xxx; but the females logged a 40:22.xxx the one time I ran them (their arrows are down so I have been running Roberts instead of Robertas...  actually I've been sitting at $20M since Sunday with nothing desirable to buy so my drivers are taking a vacation...)
