Just to confuse Looney even more.  ^-^
I ran my top speed down to about 120mph, then run the final drive up 4.55, and kept all the gears pretty close. Hit all the turns in 5rd gear, and the high speed left in 6nd.

Actually that sounds much easier than the way I did it, Chrome, what I did was definitely over complicated in comparison ;D

This batch of DTs were frustrating for some reason. PD's scoring system is flawed big time, but that should come as no surprise. I only ran the SSR7 to get gold, then got the hell outta there. I spent probably a couple hours on the Madrid one though, and produced a lot of foul language.

You guys are kickin ass on the drifts. I did pretty good, but couldn't catch some of you. I really like the madrid one, except the entry into the first section. The 86 GT is awesome.

What I like about the Madrid one is the playing field is level. In all the other open drift events there is the one "Go to car" that is just ridiculous and gets BS unrealistic scores. But with this everyone has the same car and get scored the same way, I like it and spent a lot of time with the Madrid one. I think my 15700 prolly going to be my peak, I can run 15000's pretty consistently but I can't seem to get anything more out of any of the sectors.

Do you drift with the wheel or controller, because with the wheel,

I couldn't do it either.  ;)

I'm going to put my drift car up for sharing if anyone wants to give it a try in a last minuet attempt to push up their score before they close. Just be advised it's tough to drive and will take a few attempts to get the feel of.

The Madrid one? I will give it a go. I'm really interested in what I can do with a car "set to drift".  :)

To answer your question, I used it for both Madrid and SS7

My drifting style, does not utilize the E-Brake, the car wants to drift so all you need is the throttle. Lift to make it turn, throttle to make it go, It may sound simple in writing but in practice it's a completely different ball game. Third gear to break it free fourth and fifth can be used in drift, you can shift it mid drift.
