Lol, Looney, It's not so much that it is dark (turn up the brightness control by stopping the race, hit the 3st button from the left and you can brighten the track a bit - works for me).  Also, it's the short version of SS Rte 5 (REVERSE) so a lot of people lose time because they don't KNOW the track.  On the first right hander, you need to slow down it's a late apex.  The second right hander you can stay in 3st gear and accelerate after a late apex.  The first chicane, you can take this nearly at full speed, but after that the subsequent chicanes have to be given respect.  Feather the gas through the tunnel and then back on the straight.  Keep in mind that "fluid motion" and smooth on the gas and break will get you 1-2 seconds faster per lap -plenty enough time to get into first place by the middle of the fifth lap. ;D

As far as the last race at the Kart Track - get into a rythym and flow through the turns.  a Time of 5:00 flat will get you first place.  You can run sub 1 minute laps here.  Good luck!!

Also, since I don't have to work tomorrow, I ran these while they are still fresh.

Probably the only time you'll see my name in the top 10 of a TT.

The latest time trial at Tokyo has all of the top times placed by the 2D. :P I only had something like three cars that could even apply, two of which I did not want to add any miles to them (if I could help it), and the 2D was not any of them.

So, what to do? I used the only other one I had, a RM Camaro.
It was a struggle, but it got the job done.  ^-^

Yeah, most of the time I look to see what kind of choices I have and never really even look to see what others use, but this time, I looked because I ran out of options and wanted to see if I overlooked anything. I was disappointed to see all top 100 times (minus one black sheep in a Jaguar) set by one ringer car.

I am glad to see that PD is making us work for our wins with the latest time trials and Seasonals. It's not just one and done, anymore.

I agree with the harder workings PD has put into the seasonals.  The last 2 tracks in the Civic seasonal was pretty tough.  The kart track one I had to run 3-4 times to finally get the gold.  What I dont care for, is the lead couple cars will run their asses off until you get a nose in on them.  Then they back way off and dont run the same pace as they were.  Thats pretty irritating to me ....

I check out my friends times and see what they drove, but I never pay attention to the ringer cars

After an hour I finished the last two. The Route 5 I won at the line. I then went over and pushed to lower my time to beat Ronin on the Montegi TT.
