@ MGT, if you think Grid2 is worth a shot I will get it, but I didn't get a very good feeling from the demo

Don't pick it up on my account. I haven't run it since GT6 came out.

Due to my lengthy attendance at the Saturday Drunk driving I found myself incapacitated on Sunday and unable to make any runs. I shall attempt to correct that tonight. I am especially looking forward to the nightmare FXX.  ^-^

It will take me a lot more time on track with the FXX. It reminds me of one of the One Make races. It is at Monza with a Ferrari. I attempted to use a stock 458 with sport hard tires and it drove just like this crazy thing.

Took me about 40 minutes last night to beat that FXX time trial.  Wasn't easy, though I found it very helpful to "feel out" how much you can cut the chicane curbs (a lot as it were).

I haven't played GT6 online...at all, as in never.  Life's been a bit busier and when I have had spare time I've spent it working my way through the offline content.

However I have been getting the Wednesday night series bug of late and the brainstorming has begun  :D

Pretty nice car, as available for this seasonal. Needs lots of room to brake - compared to some race cars.

I think it took me over a half hour to gold too. My first good lap was a good Silver, but I say you have to get a damn fine lap for Gold. I was at the top of my Friends List :)

Very nice Turbo. I plan to attack this Saturday morning when I am not rushed.

BMW Concept 1 Series tii Super Lap: Circuit de Madrid
    Period of Availability: 03/26/2014 22:00 – 04/23/2014 22:00
    Gold: Cr.55,000  Silver: Cr.24,000  Bronze: Cr.20,000
    Gift: Matte Brown

I've enjoyed this one so far, and got to the top of my FL, but I have not tried the Subaru one yet and the Ferarri FXX one is very annoying so I gave up after only a few attempts :P

Looks like most people aren't using SRF too! (on my FL)  :-*

Trying to convey a simple thought but I am usually shitty about doing so but I will try anyhow.
Size of text reflects content of game.
What we were promised for GT6

What we got for GT6

Before that we had GT5

Before that GT5p

And yet we made some fun with GT5p. Just think we are being hung up on the shitty shortcomings of PD and still have some good tools to have some more good times with.
I get it I really do being promised so much and the delivery falling short can make it hard to appreciate the good things that are there but if we did it with prologue certainly the tools we have now should be enough to get out there for some shits and giggles.

Hope that made sense to someone other than me.

Indeed, it did!

Nice!

I did not attempt the FXX again, but did the Subaru one and put down a better lap on the Concept 1 BMW. (both no SRF)

Got both to the top of FL.  Does anyone want to try knock me down a few pegs before it runs out?   8)

I found the FXX TT event much easier and less frustrating than the STI one.  However off the top of my head I don't know if I had SRF on or off.  I always drive with it off but since it was a "loaner" car I may have forgotten to shut it off.  :-\

I think this would be a good time for a lot of people who haven't been doing them, to get on board with the TT's.  Let's show them some higher participation numbers with this change.  That may solidify the change ???
