It is my understanding that most of the guys on top are using the handbrake, so unless you've got some experience using it, I'm not sure how helpful they'll be.
ahh.... hmm. I considered using it for my best lap at Eiger, and did use it once to see how well it helped me, but then I felt bad about it so I kept trying w/o using it and eventually got a "clean" run, as in no tricks applied.
Still barely short of gold, though.
In some cases, such as eiger, I wonder if using it would be considered fair Ideas/suggestions/opinions?
Y'all wouldn't believe how much I use the handbrake on a regular basis. It's a good tool/technique to use on a car that is tight, and doesn't want to turn. You run into that a lot with stock cars, like for TuTu, and while some are adjusting brake bias on track, I consider that tuning, so I use the handbrake instead.
The E-Runner will definitely require some handbrake. My biggest issue with it last night, was slowing down at the right time, which is tricky for me, as I like to use gearing down an assist, and a timing que. Another thing about the E-Runner, is it holds speed, and will kinda act like acceleration mid turn. It's a weird, and aggravating vehicle, but I'll tackle it some more.
Also, I realize y'all are mostly talking about the FT TT, but I thought the handbrake thing applied to the discussion.
