Withe the 200% multiplier, I like the spa event. I need to replenish my coffers.

The event itself is another matter.

I thought the 700PP race would be the usual instance of being able to use a 600-650PP car and still smoking the competition.  Gave it a go in my HSV race car, lol.  I was actually able to maintain pace with the leader, but winning against Group C and LMP cars was not gonna happen.  Hoped my my stock 787B and promptly ran train. :P

I tried the same thing with the R35 TC, but wound up using the Audi AE LMP.

Fully modded the R35 TC is a beast of a car that has no problem beating (AI driven) LMPs.

I'm currently still plugging away at the 24hr Nurburgring enduro in GT5 with a maxed out R35 TC.  I currently have an 8 lap lead over the 2nd place Audi LMP, with 4 1/2 hrs left  :D

Yeah, mine wasn't maxed out, and the Audi LMP wasn't that bad. I usually don't get along with those cars to well.

Running a near stock Rocket at Ascari is a freaking blast.
I took a different approach this time, and let MMX go first. This worked out pretty good, as I was originally 3 seconds faster, but then MMX wanted another go. I be damn if he didn't beat my time by 1.7 seconds.  >:( This one is pretty fun, and I'll surely revisit it, as I've got a score to settle.  :D

I ran my favorite race car, the HSV at RBR, and enjoyed that one as well. Might make for a good TuTu. *hint hint*

I still can't figure out what they did to the drift scoring system, but it has changed for sure. This week's, and the ones 2 weeks ago are different from what it use to be. There must be a really fine line for optimal scoring, as I had numerous attempts score next to nothing, while doing picture perfect drifts.  :-\

Yep, drifting golds are much harder these days. I gave up after several attempts. I think I ended up just short of silver with the MX-5.  :-\

Spent some more time on the Ascari TT with the Rocket, and managed to get into the 13's, but I'm still .1 behind MMX.  :P

Funny you mention the HSV.  That's the exact car I used at RBR as well.  Great car, great fit for that track.

For Ascari I used my bone stock Ferrari 288 GTO and had a ball of a time.  My love affair with that car continues, it is my precious. :)

Dude! There's your bank!

Use the '11 SRT Charger at 525PP

A win, if you get it, is 290,000 credits, but for you it is the experience that will help you more. ;)

True, I need more mileage at Mount Panorama.
