Thanks.

10:00.132 .. fuckit, I just can't be bothered wasting any more time wallhumping on that stupid timetrial anymore.

I barely squeaked through with a 9:58.xxx. I used the Shelby Series One. Try another go at a later date when you are fresh, you'll get it.

Sage advice indeed, Dude!  I gave it another shot late last night and, after a fair amount of DQing, I finally managed another clean lap and put down a 9:51.7xx for the gold!!  My car of choice was a slightly tuned '88 Countach, definitely has more to give than the time I put up but I won't be trying again this time around :D.

Gonna be sad to see the Sierra TT go bye-bye.  Though, Im about out of every 2WD, non race car options in my garage. ;D

I have tried to beat my RUFs time in just about everything allowed.  At lunch I ran the Toyota FT '09 concept car (the one you can tune)  WOW.  Went from a 9:29.482 to a 9:25.847 in three attempts.

Still cant beat the suzuki though.

I actually enjoyed running the FF Bathurst one, only scored a 2:25.0xx I think last night with the Mazda Atenza.  Far from the perfect car but was at least good enough for gold :), I think I'll likely try that again with something equally unexpected and see if I can get any better.

:P Xbow, and Mount Painintheassa. No Matte Dark Blue for me.  :(

MMX scored a little over 4300 in the DT at MP, with a maxed out Midget.  :laugh

I am trying to get the SHO around Mt. PainInTheRama. Currently stuck at 2'27.xxx. It goes in a straight line fantastic, turning is not on the menu though.

I haven't tried the SHO yet in GT6 I don't think, but as a general rule for FF cars I've found these settings to be useful..

Suspension:
Camber Front: 1.5      Rear: 3.5
Toe Front: 0.00     Rear: -0.25

LSD
Initial: 6
Accel.: 24
Decel.: 12

That can usually help with the turning somewhat, no guarantee though :D.

I'll give those settings a go. I think the main issue with the SHO is 400 horsepower to the front wheels and trying steer with them too just is too much to ask.

Also, this track has very, very strict boundaries.
