This event has run before. I think PD has gone here again because the F1 race is @ Silverstone 7/5.

Some tunes from before are linked on this page.

880PP!!!  Is that a typo or is that really the PP level for this event?

Looks like I'll be skipping this one too.

You should give it a go. It's in FGT so lots of downforce, here's a DudeTuna approved Tune.

The exact same track, same car and same PP was run in 2014-Aug.  If you ran that event before, it is just rinse and repeat without even changing the tune.  Someone at PD decided to take a day off on cars and tracks combo for a time trial event....He / she probably got pulled in and have to think about the SRT X on Green Hell to torment us.

well, some concept cars aren't really meant to be driven, and I guess this one fits  :-\

It would be nice if all manufacturers release Vision GT cars have taken the hint from BMW and a few others to make very drivable concepts that we can enjoy on the track.  Good engineering AND style.

Man O man.   Is the NoobRing event some kind of sick joke?  I tried at least twenty times.  The farthest I ever got was to the Foxhole.  Looks like I won't be owning an X model Tomahawk.
WhyPD?  Why these fucking cars over real ones?

Did a 1 lap bronze on the first two SRT evnets. Didn't make it pass the second turn at Nurb, so I said fuck it, and bought the X car. With 48 million credits, 1 million didn't hurt none.

Didn't even bother with the Nurb TT in that Tomahawk, shoved the two I did win into the Stockyard thing first chance I had.  By far the worst and most ridiculous Vision GT car to date, and that's saying something.

I just can't karma exalt you enough. This BS imaginary car line is too much. WTG Boston at Daytuna Road. It is too responsive for me to enjoy. I watched TRL-Evolution's replay, there is no way I will be doing the bus stop in 5th at well over 200 mph.

Too silly, too silly.

Yeah the Tomahawk X is pretty much beyond drivable in that very few can drive it anywhere near its limits. The base model(s) is not terrible. The race model (GTS-R) at Dayona isn't bad either. I enjoyed my time there. I dug in at the Ring and got 1 clean lap after 2 hours. 4:43. I had to remember not to drive at the car's limits, because I can't. I drove closer to my limits. Brakes stabilize this car a lot, so I had to use brakes whenever the car was getting unstable, and stay the hell away from curbs..the suspension can't handle them. There's no way that car could be raced...anywhere other than a big oval. I miss racing

Liking the Silverstone/Formula GT seasonal got a 1:32.3xx think I can be a bit better. Anyone else wanting to come out and play with this one a bit? I am using a tune that Dude passed around at the ToC where we ran FGT's at Indy Road Course and it seems to work pretty well.

I gave it a quick go yesterday.  I see that you have destroyed my time.  I'll revisit this one with ya.  Don't think I'll get close to your time, but this is a fun one.

Noticed right away when I got on about 9 last night that you were at the top of the times from my friends list. Immediately I thought back to your post here saying you did not think this one was going to be for you but you posted a quick time nice job. It really is a fun challenge but definitely a tough challenge.

I didn't own the car.  How that one slipped by, I dunno. :-\

I'll give Dudes tune a try and see if I can knock off those 2 seconds you have on me.  It's gonna be tough.  But, I look forward to the challenge.

Anyone try the 580pp street cars yet?  My rocket is getting killed on the long straight but I'm tearing it up in the twisties.  Need to tweak the tune and then I think I'll have a good shot at a top position.
