Seasonals haven't been updated for a while.

Beginner: used a stock NISSAN SKYLINE 300GT Sedan because I thought it would give me a challenge with its weight on Tsukuba. It was an easy win @ 422PP, so I did it again but tuned the car a bit and took 10% of the PP away, shifted some weight and added racing brakes. This is up against a couple of V8s, and Elise 111R and the Ford RS200. I mean fair is fair. Second place was on my bumper as IO crossed the finish line. Comfort Soft tires give you just over 1 G of grip. This is a fair challenge, you get paid well, and the prize car is OK.

Intermediate: tuned C7 Corvette @ 533PP and Sports Hard tires. I had used this car for something, but I figured that another Corvette may start on the grid and I was right. By lap 2, it was a mano-a-mano between the two Corvettes only. I got in behind the C6 and he was brake-checking on the apexes, so I passed him and let him inhale my exhaust. Until the last lap, he was dogging me at less than a second. He tires on the last lap. I picked up Diablo Red with the Fireblade.

The Expert challenge is a bit tougher. I used the GT500 Base Model (2,23 kg/HP) and got close, but it was under-specced, so I will have to do it more than once. It might be enough. 5.4 1.6 seconds short and still underpowered. I put the mid-range turbo on for a 1.97 Kg/HP.

Lots of mistakes, so lots of restarts. Beat the Zonda, at 6'36, with over a second to spare. You have to be aggressive and accurate throughout the race. The big car to beat is the Zonda. All other grids have been easier, so far.

Here is an example run. There may be faster cars, but this combo makes for a good challenge.

I don't remember the last time I played this game, and got slack on posting seasonal info.  :-[

Seasonals can be good challenges, if you don't pick go-to cars, plus they pay so well that they bankroll buying a lot of cars or colours. To each their own, I guess.

I don't understand why you would get hassled for posting the info.

I wasn't being hassled, I meant that I got lazy, and quit posting them.

GT6 unfortunately to me was a re-run of GT5, and didn't really bring anything to the table. Even though there were a few new cars, I was still racing for, and buying the same cars that I've bought in two games already(GT4 & 5). Not to mention each version has had less content than the one before, and looks like GT Sport could be the same way, content wise, but it's too early to say.

I applaud the guys that have stuck with it, but I just couldn't do it. I really haven't play racing games much in general, until now(The Crew). I think I got burn out.

My apologies for going off on a tangent there.
